After achieving the necessary level of English proficiency at PLI, students can continue on to a variety of diploma programs, bachelor’s degrees and University Transfer Programs at Douglas College.
Through articulation agreements with top universities across BC, Douglas College students are able to complete up to 60 credits of first and second year courses that are equivalent to those taken at major universities. These courses transfer directly to university so students who meet the minimum GPA requirements can finish their studies at a university and complete their bachelor’s degree.
The Douglas College University Transfer Program is a great way to save money; you’ll save about $15,000 in tuition fees by doing your first two years at Douglas and then transferring to university in third-year! You will also benefit from smaller class sizes and lots of one-to-one attention from Douglas professors.
Annually, approximately 1,000 Douglas College students successfully transfer to universities across Canada including:
The University of British Columbia
The University of Victoria
Simon Fraser University
University of Toronto
University of Calgary
University of Alberta
McGill University
and many other leading Canadian universities.
