Your new home abroad will be an important part of your study experience: enjoying life outside of school will help you to study more effectively in the classroom. All of Kaplan PLI’s accommodation options are designed to give you the maximum opportunity to interact with native English speakers or fellow international students and to experience life in Canada.

Homestay

Our Homestay option offers you the opportunity to stay with a Canadian family while you study English in Canada. We take care to choose quality families in safe and convenient locations in both Vancouver and Toronto.

With our Homestay program, you will be provided with:

• A bedroom furnished with a desk and study lamp with internet access available
• A meal plan to suit your needs (2 meals per day)
• Shared washroom and access to laundry facilities
• A friendly atmosphere where you can practice speaking English

* Add-on options include Private bathroom.

Apartment and Residence

Kaplan PLI has a variety of residence and apartment options that are conveniently located and offer more independent living for students.  We have inspected all residences and apartments to ensure that they are clean, neat and have all the basic facilities.

Please visit Schools Canada and “Accommodation Information” under the city in which you would like to stay. This section will give you a guide to prices – please note that prices can change without notice, and some options may not be available at the time of booking, especially during the Canadian summer.

A placement fee of CAD $240 is payable on all options.  A credit card or a cash deposit (money order or bank wire) is usually required to secure the reservation and/or for the damage deposit.  The deposit will be refunded at the end of the stay if there is no damage to the room.

Accommodation is within easy travelling distance to the school: 15 – 50 minutes by public transportation.
